Aswanley Wedding Venue

At Aswanley, Aberdeenshire we have created an unusual Scottish wedding venue suitable for both sumptuous wedding receptions and intimate family gatherings. We can look after small wedding parties or 250 guests for a wedding reception, dining and dancing.

We have many years experience entertaining friends and guests at Aswanley, so we really do understand what makes a great wedding .. and therefore a great wedding venue! You will have exclusive use of the wedding venue and the flexibility and space to plan your wedding reception as you wish.

The wedding venue consists of the grounds of Aswanley, a sixteenth century fortified house and the impressive restored Victorian barn, known as a ‘steading’ in the local Aberdeenshire dialect.

The Aswanley Steading, boasts all the features of a country house wedding venue and the comfort you would expect to find in a private estate in the Scottish Highlands – but with the scale, flexibility and exclusive use that most Scottish wedding venues cannot offer.
