Batemans Barn

Bateman’s Barn dating from 1270 is set within the grounds of the grade 1 listed South Elmham Hall and is part of our beautiful secluded organic farm, a truly unique setting for a wedding. Tucked away amongst a grove of ancient trees within a medieval moat, it offers the perfect combination of peace and tranquility with all the benefits of modern facilities.

The Barn, which has been restored to make the most of all its original features, with additions of an oak sprung dance floor, south facing windows bringing in lots of natural light and contemporary fittings making for a chic, comfortable and stylish location.

Connected to the barn, in an enclosed courtyard is our fully fitted marquee and adjacent to the marquee our converted stables bar offers yet more space for your guests to relax and enjoy the day.

This is a family run business with the owners working closely with the couples and their families, both in preparation and on the day, offering a wealth of experience and along with our team of dedicated staff, a personal and exclusive service. We offer a completely tailor made wedding service and are here to help and advise you as much or as little as you require.
