Our superb location means that if you want a wedding venue in the Lake District that is near to a church we are perfect as we are adjacent to St Oswald's church which dates to 700 AD allows the Bride to walk to Church if she wishes. At The Wordsworth anything is possible and our experienced team of professionals will take you through every part of the planning and delivery leaving you free to really enjoy the greatest day of your life, your perfect wedding in the Lake District at The Wordsworth.

Had full exclusive use of the hotel for our wedding and our 90 guests for two nights! Lots of our guests said it was the best wedding they had been to! This is down to Rachael and her team, everything was seamless and the food amazing! Can't wait to return.

What and amazing day!! The hotel is absolutely faultless. The hotel staff couldn't do enough for any of the guests. They ensured that they had an amazing experience from start to finish. clean, which is all you want when visiting a spa. The rooms are at a great size and the beds are soo comfy! My bridal room was huge and was amazing!!
