The Queens Hotel has been welcoming visitors to the far west of Cornwall since 1862, with great service in a friendly atmosphere. Our family run hotel offers high levels of comfort and style whilst still reflecting its heritage with fine paintings and grand architecture. Many of the bedrooms have sea views and the Promenade Restaurant is well known for its food and use of fresh local produce. We have ample car parking and free wi-fi throughout the hotel.

The Queens Hotel is the perfect base to explore this wonderful region. Land’s End, with its secluded coves, towering cliffs and myriad of ancient monuments is just a short journey away. The Minack Theatre, a wonderful open air theatre carved out of the hillside and cliffs overlooking Porthcurno, is another popular attraction where one can see performances of Shakespeare and well known musicals. A visit to the enchanting Isles of Scilly by boat or aeroplane can be booked from The Queens Hotel. St Michael’s Mount, the most famous landmark in Cornwall, is just a short drive away and can be walked to when the tide is low.

The staff were amazing and couldn't do enough to help. The food was delicious. The drinks were very reasonable priced. The hotel is stunning and lovely and clean. Their attention to detail is second to none. The toilets were beautifully clean with fresh individual towels. And beautifully arranged fresh flowers throughout the hotel.

From the moment we first made enquiries about getting married in this lovely hotel, we found the staff so helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We had a lovely big room with a four poster bed and superb sea views. The bed was very comfortable, with good quality bed linen. The staff laid up the tables for the wedding reception the night before, so we were able to place the table decorations, wedding cake and wishing well that evening. The wedding ceremony took place in the ballroom so it made a nice long "aisle" for me to walk down. To have the sun shining & beautiful sea views was a bonus! The wedding buffet was truly amazing! All the guests agreed it was a lovely spread! We enjoyed a very comfortable night and a great breakfast. We would like to thank all the staff who helped make our wedding day run smoothly without a hitch. Special thanks to Lucinder and Lauren for their patience and calming influence when dealing with a nervous wreck of a bride! Lovely hotel with bags of character and great staff!!

Our wedding was just the most amazing experience. Our room was fantastic , fabulous sea view. Breakfast was good and we all had a pre-wedding day dinner there too. Guess what really makes it stand out are the staff who simply cannot do enough to help. Thank you Queens for helping to make it all such a wonderful time.
