Overview

A wedding at Scorrier House is exclusivity at its utmost. Four hundred acres of countryside and historic garden ensure privacy for a very special day. Arriving down the sweeping driveway through magnificent parkland attests you are going somewhere very special.

The Grand Hall with its sweeping double staircase provides a breathtaking theatre to married in front of 120 friends and family. Or, on a hot summer’s day, couples can marry under the gazebo in the beautifully verdant pool garden opposite the botanic conservatory.

Weddings should last longer than just one day and at Scorrier accommodation is provided onsite for up to 16 friends and family. The two luxury cottages on the private Scorrier Estate sleep ten and four within easy access of the House. Barbeques, hog roasts, lunches or brunches can be hosted at the house pre or post the wedding day.

Weddings are personal and Scorrier offers a blank canvas where marriages can be tailored entirely to your whim. Take-over the house and add your own touches to everything from room configurations to flower arrangements.

We would like to say an enormous economic thank you for everything you did to help make our wedding day so wonderfully special at Scorrier House. We are so glad we were able to hold our reception there in such a stunning, classy setting - we felt truly blessed and lucky, and the day was everything we dreamed it would be. From start to finish, it was a pleasure liaising with you both. We very much appreciate how helpful, accessible, warm and friendly you were.

Thank you for letting us hold our wedding at Scorrier House. We both had an amazing day, and much of that is due to Scorrier House being such an amazing venue with stunning gardens and grounds. The greenhouse and plants inside are beautiful and we love the woodland feel and bluebelles. All our guests complimented on the venue and gardens too. We loved the feeling of exclusivity and peacefulness - you wouldn''t get that in a hotel.

We just wanted to write and say an enormous thank you for absolutely everything you did for our wedding day. Your house is exquisite and made an excellent intimate setting for our special day with all our family and friends. Even your help on on the morning of the wedding with all the little touches just made us even happier with the whole day and choosing the perfect setting AND it didn''t rain in the daytime! You were both fantastic and extremely warm and welcoming which made it all the more personal. Fantastic house, fantastic gardens, fantastic family! Thank you.
