The best entrance to Devonshire Terrace by Drake & Morgan is through an unsuspecting arch just off a narrow street in the City of London. Emerging from the tunnelled arch and into Devonshire Square, you are greeted by floods of natural daylight, leafy trees and a sneaky view of an iconic London skyscraper, ‘the Gherkin’. Bare brick walls climb up six floors to meet a glass roof, enclosing the space and creating an urban conservatory. Crossing the paved square to Devonshire Terrace, one immediately notices an unusual quietness for an alfresco venue located in the middle of London’s bustling business district.

Wedding ceremonies take place under the glass roof surrounded by a terraced wooden deck where two large trees frame the top of the aisle and natural light brightens the Lower Terrace year-round. Ceremonies here can be minimalistic and modern or lavish and extravagant in design, either way the space acts as a flawless backdrop for your picture-perfect wedding.

To dine under the stars, the Lower Terrace can be reset for dinner while guests sip handcrafted cocktails on the glass-railed deck. Outdoors, up to 150 guests can be seated on rounds. Moving indoors for larger wedding parties, the main restaurant space connected to the deck accommodates between 150 and 220 guests depending on your table shape choice.

Lounge furniture and circular booths have been selected in shades of mint or pink and draped with soft faux fur blankets, gold accents and hanging lights create a glow throughout the room.
