The Quayside Exchange

The Quayside Exchange, is a historic Grade II listed banqueting venue close to Sunderland City Centre, and the perfect venue for weddings, conferences and events.

With contemporary function rooms like the elegant Grand Room, with Georgian windows overlooking the waterfront, to the contemporary Main Bar, we have function suites to suit every occasion.

For weddings, overlooking the impressive waterfront, the Grade II listed Quayside Exchange combines history with elegance to create the perfect venue for your special day. We are fully licensed for Civil Ceremonies for up to 300 guests in three of our function suites: the historic Vaulted Suite with adjoining river terrace; our contemporary Main Bar; and the elegant Grand Room with adjoining bars.

Our range of Wedding Menus have been specially designed to make your wedding extra special, highlights include our popular Rib-eye of beef in a red wine jus with Mediterranean vegetables and roasts potatoes as well as a mouth watering Red Onion and Rich Cheese Tartlet with mixed leaf salad and balsamic dressing. We have also recently introduced a new package for Asian Weddings in Sunderland at the Quayside Exchange.
