Set the scene for an unforgettable wedding day at De Vere Wokefield Estate, surrounded by uninterrupted views of one of England’s idylls. Its prime location in Reading not only guarantees easy access for your guests, but you’re also perfectly positioned to discover the area’s best attractions including Highclere Castle, where Downton Abbey was filmed.
Inside the heritage former home of the Plowden family, the venue recently had a 20 million pound refurbishment to update its event suites and build new luxury hotel rooms. The latest AV equipment and mod-cons are now woven into the fabric of the mansion, whilst the period features gleam with their original splendour.
There are a variety of heritage function rooms to choose from on-site, as well as the new multi-purpose Wokefield Suite that’s perfect for large cultural weddings. De Vere Wokefield Estate is an all in one wedding destination where your ceremony spot, reception room and guest accommodation convene in one gorgeous setting.
