Woolhanger Manor
Overview
We have four holiday cottages onsite which can accommodate up to 18 people (min 3 night stay) with other cottages nearby. Lynton & Lynmouth is just 10 minutes away and has a number of quality B & B’s and hotels.
The Music RoomThis distinctive octagonal hall was added to the manor house in 1894. Original features such as the grandiose stone fireplaces make it a spectacular space. And if you’re looking for a real sense of occasion, the built-in organ can be used to add that fairytale touch to your ceremony. The Music Room seats up to 150 guests for the ceremony and can host up to 120 for a seated evening reception.
The Medieval RoomThe oblong shaped Medieval Room seats 60 guests for an intimate ceremony. It can accommodate more guests for a drinks reception. The room’s rustic charm is complemented by a wonderful fireplace and medieval style chandeliers that hang from the open beam ceiling. Double doors lead directly into The Music Room if you would like to make use of both spaces.
The Red Dining RoomThe Red Room is perfect for celebrating with your nearest and dearest. It will fit 12 people for a formal seated dinner or 30 standing guests. And if you are having a larger wedding at Woolhanger, the calm and comfort of The Red Room offers an extra space for your guests to relax.
