We have just got back from our fantastic wedding at the whitewater hotel. I can't praise the place enough, the rooms are fantastic, the views magnificent and we were treated like royalty all weekend. All of our guests stayed for whole the weekend. The hotel provided a barbeque for the friday night, there was loads of food and really good quality too. On the day of the wedding we had drinks on the terrace over looking the river, followed by a wedding breakfast in the restaurant. I was really surprised by the quality of the food, I thought it would be nice but it was fantastic we had a choice of starters and desert and lakeland lamb for main. In the evening we had a disco, the dj was recommended by the hotel and he didn't disappoint. The next day we enjoyed a relaxing day walking in the hills and relaxing in the pool and spa at the hotel. The hotel was fantastic in every way, they helped us book a coach for our guests, find a florist and photographer. The chef even fixed our wedding cake as a few iced flowers got squashed in the transit. I would really recommend this hotel to anyone, the staff are friendly, food superb and location magnificent, ideal for a loved up couple.
