The Biscuit Factory

The Biscuit Factory is an independent North East organisation with a passion for excellence in arts, culture and lifestyle. Located in Newcastle in a former Victorian warehouse we opened in 2002 becoming the UK’s largest art, craft and design gallery, developing over the years to include additional studio sites, a community arts centre and our own charitable organisation, The Biscuit Factory Foundation.

2014 marks a significant year for the growth of the business as The Biscuit Factory re-launches the former food social restaurant as artisan and later in the year we open The Biscuit Room; a bespokely crafted, state of the art, venue hall at the rear of the gallery available for private hire.

Finding that perfect, extra special venue is a crucial first step in planning your wedding. The Biscuit Room offers a dramatic setting for an unforgettable experience: the day you’ve always dreamed of. Licensed for ceremonies and civil partnerships, its versatile spaces can accommodate up to 300 guests for a seated meal. With an emphasis on individuality and quality, we offer a bespoke service to suit every taste.
