Rob Sanderson Wedding Photography

As a photographer myself, I had been following Rob's work for about a year prior to getting engaged. I was in no doubt that Rob was the man to photograph our wedding... and he didn't let us down! His coverage of my wife getting ready in the morning are some of my favourite photographs of the day. His ability to blend into the background and make people feel at ease have resulted in some stunning documentary shots of the girls getting ready. The showcase shots he created of myself and my wife were absolutely stunning and hang pride of place in our home and often get 'wows' from visitors. Rob's approach to the wedding day was refreshing and gave us more valuable time with our guests. Instead of taking us off for an hour or two whilst everyone was enjoying canapés and fizz, he set up shots throughout the day and we were able to be done shooting within a few minutes at a time. Being able to finesse the composition and lighting whilst we weren't hanging around meant for a higher quality series of photographs and meant we got to eat our mini goats cheese tarts. Put simply - Rob's work is stunning. As a photographer myself, I'm a big fan of unobtrusive reportage photography and really wanted a photographer who we could feel relaxed with, yet trust to capture our day with some amazing shots. Rob worked effortlessly to record the emotions of the day (...which was long!), and the contemporary shots have delighted ourselves, our families and on a personal level - provided my own work with a tonne of inspiration.

We knew straight away we wanted Rob Sanderson to be our wedding photographer, Josh and I both loved his style of photography. He didn't disappoint. We absolutely love our wedding photographs as they are all natural shots (no cheese), reminding us of the day as it progressed, from the bridal party preparations; to the church service; to the reception and finally to the dancing. So much so, that many of our photographs are framed in the house with most guests commenting on them. We would 100% recommend Rob Sanderson as your wedding photographer, especially if don't want a photographer to eat away at the precious time on your special day ... you won't even know he is there!

We are absolutely thrilled with our wedding photos - Rob really captured the spirit of our day and helped to create a relaxed environment. We had visited a couple of photographers before meeting Rob but he seemed to genuinely listen to what we wanted e.g making sure we weren't away from our guests for too long getting posed shots... and all for a very competitive price. Rob did an amazing job photographing our wedding in Italy, there was never any doubt that he would be the right man for the job. Being wedding photographers ourselves the first question everybody asked us about our wedding was "who's doing your photos?" shortly followed by "I bet that was a hard choice to make" actually we were never in any doubt as to who would photograph our wedding, ever since meeting Rob and seeing his outstanding work we knew he had to photograph our wedding, in fact that was decided before we had even planned the wedding! It was a pleasure to have Rob at our wedding and we know how hard he worked on the day to ensure we got amazing photos. The effort of going up to the top of the Town Hall tower was 100% worth it, where some photographers might not have been able to produce any images in the tight space up there, Rob was inventive and brave and captured a photo I don't think anyone else could have and we love it! So much so that in hangs proudly on our living room wall in a meter wide frame. Rob thank you so much for the photos that we will treasure forever. We can not recommend Rob highly enough.
