OVERVIEW

Creatively driven, I photograph weddings with the constant motivation to capture your special day in all it’s glory.

My relaxed approached to people made me a natural wedding photographer but I do stray to other genres such as portraiture, travel photography: shooting the Holi festival in India, vineyards in Italy, Royalty at events or working for free, photographing dogs in shelters to help them find new homes.

Creatively driven, I photograph weddings with the constant motivation to capture your special day in all it’s glory. Shooting discreetly in a documentary style, you’ll end up with photographs that will warm the heart for years to come.

About

Born in England, Paul studied photography from a young age but took time out to pursue his design career. After getting restless sitting at a desk he hung up his crayons and grabbed his camera again. Based in Godalming in Surrey, his relaxed approached to people makes him a natural portrait photographer, shooting business headshots, personal portraits and lifestyle photographs for magazines. Married for over 20 years with two awesome children and a soppy dog.

My wife and I cannot recommend Paul enough as a wedding photographer! From the very first meeting he put us at ease with his friendly approachable manner. He visited our venue ahead of the day and came up with some great locations for some shots a bit different to the norm which we wanted. On the day everybody loved him! He couldn’t do enough to get the shots we were after with a great deal of patience as members of our family had to be tracked down and dragged for shots. After the wedding he sent through the edited shots within 1 week which we were gobsmacked by! And they are stunning with shots we did not expect which were a delightful surprise. Thank you Paul!!!!

I have to say that these days I view having a camera pointed at me as a case of the enemy who was once a friend. More often than not I end up looking like a frightened deer about to run for it. Kudos then to Paul Clifton who, not only made our session a very enjoyable and relaxed one, but also produced a series of photos that I’m very proud of. I have no hesitation in recommending him to get the best out of his camera and you!
