Hello, I'm Sam and my wedding photography centres around storytelling images: real moments full of emotion and life. Those precious situations that can't be faked - captured in a beautiful set of artistic, evocative, sincere and timeless photographs.

"Documentary wedding photography, reportage or photojournalism" perhaps describe my style well but whatever you want to call it - being unobtrusive and letting you get on and enjoy your day is very important to me. Why fake a moment if you can live it and capture it for real?

From the excitement during preparations, to the dancing in the evening, I'll be constantly looking for beautiful, creative compositions and capturing (or creating) the best light - waiting for those magical moments to unfold.

For those with time set aside for group photos and couple portraits, I really like to make the most of it. I love to let couples spend time together in a planned location where I can capture something special - letting the mood flow as much as possible but balanced with a touch of helpful direction if needed.
