OVERVIEW

We offer creative formal and informal photography, working with each couple individually to help them to look great and relaxed on their special day.

Hi, I'm Geoff and I'm a Wedding Photographer based in Nottinghamshire. I'm a photography graduate (since 2000) and have been working in this field ever since. I have been officially shooting weddings since 2008 and feel privileged to have such a fantastic occupation.

I live with my wife Mary and our 2 hilariously gorgeous children called Esme and Edward who give us hours of pleasure. In my spare time I like nothing more than to make a brew and read (watch) endless gumph about cameras, particuarly Nikon! Yes that's right I'm a massive camera nerd but in a good way... I also love comedy, music and being with my family.

I love to work with natural light, which is the embodiment of reportage photography. Capturing the special moments of people in every emotion, in natural settings is a particular skill of mine. I have also grown to appreciate the use of flash and artificial light especially when indoors.

I am a people person and I pride myself on the relationships and the rapport I have with my clients. I make it my priority to meet and communicate regularly with couples in order to really personalise and get the most out of each and every wedding.

My husband and I keep saying how incredibly lucky we were to find Geoff. Finding a great photographer was one of the most important decisions for us, so we'd really done our research. But not only is Geoff an enormously talented photographer, he is also a lot of fun and an absolute pleasure to be around! He put ourselves and our guests at ease all day! As we wanted to capture as much as we could, Geoff worked on the day with a second photographer called Steve who was also great and it was clear that they worked together really well! We had our wedding on Saturday - so we've only seen the sneak peek shot so far - but we're so excited to see the rest. Geoff also did an engagement shoot for us, which I would highly recommend to all couples. We ended up with some absolutely beautiful photos and it really gave us a chance to get to know Geoff and to get used to having our photo taken (we're both normally terrible in front of cameras!) All I can say is that if you're looking for an excellent photographer who will really add to making your day the wonderful occasion it should be then don't look any further!

If you would like a truly fantastic, talented and creative photographer and stand-up comedian all in one then Geoff is your man! From start to finish he was brilliant, keeping me calm (and in stitches) whilst he worked with ease with the wedding party to get all the shots we requested, and many more! As a busy bride it gave me great peace of mind to know Geoff was there capturing all the special moments and little details of the day he was charming and a pleasure to have as part of our day. Can't wait to see the professional photos!
