SCD Solo Piper provides Highland Bagpipe music for all events! SCD Solo Piper was established by Shonagh Duncan; a Highland Bagpipe player with over 14 years of experience. Experience was gained as a pipe band member (e.g. at The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo), and as a soloist. Shonagh brings this experience to solo engagements across the country; from family occasions (weddings, funerals, anniversaries), to corporate and cultural events (e.g. Conferences and Burns Night), from South coast of England to the Islands of Scotland.

Shonagh's core focus is to provide a tailored service in order to deliver a service best suited to each individual. Simply tell Shonagh about what you would like from a piper; you can then together discuss how to make that happen! About
I have been piping since the age of 9 and I've never looked back! I learned to play in the Scottish Borders, and went on to pipe at various events and in different bands in Scotland and England. I come from a musical family, however I was the first to play the pipes - it was something I truly loved to listen to as a child. I studied at University in Edinburgh, before becoming a full time musician. Music is a passion and I feel privileged to be able to bring music to people's events.
