John Norcott Wedding Singer & DJ

John began singing at the age of 15 when he was asked to audition for the school musical West Side Story, after great reviews from his class mates etc John decided to continue performing and applied for Performing Arts and Theatre Studies A'Levels at College.

At Wigan and Leigh College John became a founder member of Purple Patch Productions a musical theatre company that went from performing in local halls to gaining the rights to Godspell and performing at Blackpool Globe Theatre.

John graduated from Bretton Hall (Leeds University) in 2001 and for the first 2 years worked as an actor in TV, Film and Theatre. Playing the role of Barry in "Is Harry on the Boat?" Sky One, a small part in Brookside and a role in the short film "Wilfred" Ducy Parade Films. In 2002 John worked for the Bradford Alhambra in house theatre company "Twisting Yarn" it was whilst at the theatre John then went on to work alongside Billy Pearce in Jack and the Beanstalk for Qdos Entertainment and was then offered summer season.

In 2003 the 'Caribbean' called and John took to the seas for 6 months as Lead Vocalist onboard the Sundream Cruise Ship. It was aboard the ship that John met his wife Fanny. Upon returning to the UK Fanny moved from her home city of Stockholm to join John running the entertainment at Pine Lake (Sunterra Europe) resort in Carnforth (Lake District). John and Fanny then set up Norcottic Entertainment providing entertainment for corporate and private events.
