Southampton String Quartet

Southampton String Quartet will provide professional quality music for your wedding, dinner or corporate function. The quartet uses musicians of the highest quality, its players being principally music graduates, ex-members of the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra and seasoned professionals from the Hampshire area.

We can provide an extensive repertoire of stylish and elegant background music for all occasions. Our repertoire includes everything that you would expect a classical string quartet to be able to play, from great classics by Mozart and Haydn, as well as popular arrangements of works by Bach, Handel, Faurè, Debussy and Delibes, to name but a few. For a lighter touch we can play Theme Tunes, Ragtime, Jazz, Swing, Show Tunes and arrangements of Pop Songs. If you cannot find what you are looking for in our existing repertoire list, for a small fee (and with sufficient notice) we are happy to provide arrangements of your special requests.
