OVERVIEW

Abnormally Funky are the only wedding and party band in the UK performing totally modern music with a rapper, as well as all the classics. We perform in 5 different combinations and have a band to suit any occasion, from our Funky Five to the Full Eight - all of which can be booked with or without our our MC (rapper). Our genres include pop, disco, funk, motown, soul, rock, hip hop and RnB.We offer something different for your party, we’re cutting edge and very cool.

Our members have performed with many renowned musicians including: Adele, Charlotte Church, Jamie Cullum, Jonny Dankworth and Cleo Laine, Limp Biscuit, Chaka Khan, Ola Onable, Mike Garrick Big Band, The Heritage Orchestra, The London Jazz Orchestra and the National Youth Jazz Orchestra.

We are now back from our honeymoon and just wanted to thank you and the band so much for playing at our wedding. We were so impressed and incredibly happy with the music and as you will have seen, barely left the dance floor! All our guests commented on how great the music was.

Thank you Abnormally Funky for the most fantastic music you provided for my wedding. Everyone is saying it was their wedding of the year and your music was a lot to do with making it so. The dance floor was packed for the whole time you were playing. You were the best band I have heard for a long time the balance of the music suited everyone present. Also a special thank you to Dan for going out of his way to sort out the pa system that we used for the speeches and music when people first arrived. I can’t thank you enough for making it such a special occasion.
