Katharine has been passionate about colour and design since she was little Her career began as a textile designer around 17 years ago she now works as a surface pattern designer, illustrator and greetings card designer in the North West of England Her main passions are her family, her miniature sausage dogs, snowboarding, festivals, and of course all sorts of pattern and colour.

Our brides typically are looking for a unique design for their wedding invitations. They don’t want an off-the-shelf invite from any typical wedding invitation supplier.

Our Brides know what they want and have trawled the internet and have not found what they are looking for on the larger wedding invitation sites. They usually come across Papermonkeys via “bespoke wedding stationery” search via google and are always relieved to be given a fresh approach to their wedding invitations.

They love our soft, whimsical style of watercolour illustrations and are very excited to use Papermonkeys to create a range of illustrations just for them. We ask our brides to send us photographic starting points for each of the illustrations they require, this ensures they get exactly what they want.
