Alison Smith Hair and Make-Up

Welcome to Bridal Beauty!

My name is Alison Smith and I’m a fully qualified hair and make-up artist with over 15 years experience.

I trained as a hairdresser in London and then went on to work as a salon stylist for 2 years. My wish to create the “total look” for my clients led me back to college to learn make-up artistry.

Since then my work has varied from general hairdressing to television but my real passion is bridal work, which I have specialised in for the last 5 years. One of my brides featured in “Hello!” magazine.

Most of my weddings are in the South East but I have also travelled to Spain and Italy to prepare brides for their special day.

I believe it’s important to keep skills updated and regularly attend courses and seminars. These include Patrick Cameron, Anne Veck, Wella, and MAC. I was trained in airbrush make-up by the UK’s foremost expert in airbrush make-up artistry, John Woodbridge.
