Hi there, I’m Lesley Montgomery, A fully qualified freelance hairdresser, with 20 years experience. offering a professional, friendly service to brides in either their own home or at their chosen wedding venue.

I really love the “buzz” of the wedding day morning/afternoon and all the girly fun involved in preparing for your special day especially, having done it myself!

I’ve been known to end up putting the bride in her dress, fastening buttonholes, and even making sure the father of the bride is cool, calm and collected, as well as ensuring everyone’s hair looks great!

I started out in my home town of Grantham, Lincolnshire, at the local college where I graduated with distinction. I moved to Northampton in 1993, to start work at one of the top salons in the town centre. Their I progressed to Creative Director, where I was part of the creative team, taking part in shows, photo shoots, and competitions.

This is where I became passionate about dressing long hair, after attending several Patrick Cameron long hair courses. I became one of the top Bridal hairstylists at the salon until I left in 2002, just after my own wedding, to set up on my own.
