Gillian Rafferty Make Up Artist

After studying at the Portobello Institute in Dublin over 10 years ago Gillian began her make up career in fashion, theatre and media. She continued her training in Los Angeles and New York with some of the industries top professionals.

Gillian was approached by top US brand Stila Cosmetics to represent their brand throughout the UK and Ireland as a professional make up artist. This work took her to the UK where she began doing freelance make up and working with celebrities such as Colleen Rooney, Kate Kelly and Michelle Keegan and with magazines such as Closer, YQ Northwest and Love It.

Gillian moved back to Ireland in 2008 and has been working with celebrities such as Kathryn Thomas, Blathnaid Ni Chofaigh, Emma O'Driscoll and Clelia Murphy. She has also had her work produced in publications such as Social and Personal, The RTE Guide, Prudence and Confetti. Gillian has worked on The Off The Rails Live fashion show and The Afternoon Show on RTE and continues to look after brides on their special day.
