Marianna has had a lifelong interest in make-up as her mother is also a well renowned TV and Film Makeup Artist. When she was young, she would be watching TV and her mum would comment “that lady is wearing the wrong shade of lipstick or “her blusher is too high or why didn’t they powder his bald spot?” So she grew up noticing faces, how people looked and she learnt what you can do to enhance faces.

Smink Make-up was born when Marianna relocated to Ilkley, West Yorkshire and she regularly travels across the country to work for new and existing clients and has a base in London as well. Marianna’s career has included work as the National Make Up Artist for cult cosmetic brand “Fresh” (owned by LVMH) where she was in charge of launching seasonal collections and training artists, and she has been head makeup designer for fashion shows at London Fashion Week including Paul Costelloe and Lindka Cierach Couture.

She regularly works on advertising campaigns and pop videos, most recently “The Choirgirl” for Decca and at prestigious venues such as the Dorchester in London. Marianna’s talent lies in the ability to create stunning looks: both with airbrushing and using a selection of high quality professional brands for long lasting, well balanced and immaculately blended faces.Marianna is in high demand and as such pre booking is essential.
