Gingerlily Flowers

Firstly let me explain the thought behind the name...
After years of teasing and torment for having red hair, I decided I’d embrace it! The Gingerlily is a plant, which produces an elegant white flower. And there we have it - Gingerlily Flowers!

Gingerlily was launched in 2009. I began training as a Florist at 16, inspired by an Aunt, who had her own florist shop, I decided at a young age the path I wanted to take.
After years of working for others, managing shops and gaining valuable experience, I decided it was time to take the plunge…and here I am! My passion grows with my experience and each day presents new challenges and fresh inspiration for the next.

In relaxed Studio Based surroundings, the morning begins with a cappuccino and a ponder of what the day will bring. My cheeky little dogs Ricotta and Vespa, like to know what’s going on and with the support of my team of both experienced and ‘budding’ florists there’s always a buzz in the air at pressured times and creative minds at work.

I use seasonal flowers as much as possible but also like to offer more unusual varieties, giving clients the choice of traditional and contemporary designs. Our flowers are mainly from Europe but some come from as far afield as Columbia and Kenya. During Spring and Summer I love buying from English growers, Daffodils, Delphiniums, Peonies, Sweet Williams and Eustoma are always fabulous quality.
