Purple Swan was formed in 2009 as a wedding chair cover hire company. We are growing year on year and now offer wedding design as well as our ever-expanding range of hire items including bay tree hire, table runners and swagging, table centrepieces, candelabra hire, lantern hire, aisle runner hire, bunting, wedding favours and more…

We know how important it is to have everything perfect for your wedding day. We are passionate about our work and pride ourselves on providing quality products with excellent customer service. We promise to make your wedding venue look fantastic, but don’t just take our word for it - read some testimonials from our happy customers.

Based in Cumbria, we cover weddings in the The Lake District and Lancashire, including Windermere, Ambleside, Keswick, Kendal, Penrith, Grange-over-Sands, Newby Bridge, Carlisle, Lancaster and surrounding areas.

Hire 70 or more chair covers and you will be entitled to a 10% discount on any of our beautiful table decorations.

If there is something in particular you would like to hire please feel free to call us or email us, we are always looking to expand our range and would love to hear your ideas. We can create wedding designs to suit any budget!

Thank you so much for making the Coach House so attractive for our wedding. The hessian and lace chair sashes looked so rustic and in keeping with every thing else, just as Linda wanted. Your creativity is just wonderful to witness and we hope your business will continue to grow and grow. You were so lovely to work with and I am sure the word will spread.. I will have to frame the seating plan,so clever of you to match the place name cards.

James and I would like to thank you for all your hard work and creativity which transformed our wedding into a beautiful winter wonderland. You managed to take my imagination and turn it into something even better! When I walked into the ceremony room it really took my breath away, the arch, the candles and the trees really looked stunning. The wedding breakfast room looked absolutely beautiful, it was somehow warm and cosy yet utterly elegant at the same time. The sweet table was a massive hit with everyone and I had to be super quick to get any for myself! I’m sorry I didn’t get a chance to say thank you on the day but I loved everything you did and wouldn’t have changed a thing!
