Saunts is a bespoke events company that provides top quality party catering preparing food for all manner of a party and events.

Everyone remembers a good party and that’s what saunts is all about. Combining her passion for entertaining with her background in outdoor catering, Lesley Mercer (maiden name Saunt) launched saunts in 2004 and is now one of the leading outdoor caterers in the north.

Lesley trained at the University of Manchester and in her 25 years’ experience has organised events at prestigious venues including London’s Science Museum and Kensington Palace. In addition, Lesley worked for a couple of years as operations director for Leiths, one of the best known party companies in the business.

Today, Lesley and her team focus on bespoke catering for weddings, private functions and corporate hospitality. Most of the business comes through word of mouth: a good sign that a good time was indeed had by all!
