Jackie's Cake Kitchen

ackie’s cake kitchen was born in 1987. After leaving the post she took it upon herself to further her creativeness by making cakes for others at little to no cost, enjoying the cake making, model making, flower making and fancy royal icing decoration and it certainly was a journey

Using the domestic kitchen of her home. Customers enjoyed the “homemade” taste of the cakes and the bespoke designs they could have and it soon became apparent that her kitchen was bursting at the seams, to relieve the pressure she adapted her garage to a specialised kitchen especially for the cakes but this only sufficed for another couple of years, with the ever growing number of customers, “many still with her today” it was again realised that Larger premises were needed. We have also had to make changes to meet both this recession and the previous one.

Over the years we can now boast a double shop which we have extended several times in order to accommodate us, our bakery and wedding lounge were added along the way so we not only provide bespoke cakes but a wide range of sugarcraft supplies, partyware and goods.

Jackie’s Sons and staff have helped immensely over the years with their fresh ideas and hard work and Jackie would be the first to thank them all for their help and knows she could not have done it without them.
