Danielle Gotheridge

We individually design each cake to our clients specifications free of charge. Our prices start at £30 for celebration cakes of all types. We also personally hand deliver our cakes all over the country and even to other parts of Europe. The business is 7 years old and Danielle is completely self taught and designs everything from her own inspiration, which mainly originates from her degree in Fine Art.

In 2008 Danielle found herself separated, left to support her 3 children alone so she opened her first shop locally in Netherfield to create more business for her family. Robyn, Danielle’s eldest daughter of 11 yrs at the time, built her mum a website, and her cakes became so well known that she was contacted by the Victoria Centre in Nottingham, to open a second outlet in prime position within their centre.

Business certainly did boom, and she became known around the country; but Danielle felt she was loosing her individuality, and after a year, she closed the Victoria centre outlet to open ‘Danielle Gotheridge’ in the quirky, but unique, Hockley area of Nottingham city centre.
