OVERVIEW

After 26 years decor cakes is still on its incredible journey having made over 90,000 cakes and looking forward to the next 90,000.

After 6 years working in the catering industry Sharon set up Decor Cakes in a small “one room” lock up shop in Chilwell, Nottingham, 1986.

It soon became obvious that it was going to be successful and so her partner Nigel joined the up and coming business. Outgrowing the small shop they moved a couple of miles away to a larger shop and then on to their own shop in Stapleford in 1998.

Taking a sideways move adding a new challenge they bought a bakery in 2005 which went hand in hand with the celebration cakes.
