I have always loved baking and was initially introduced to cake decorating in my late teens - I didn't get the opportunity to do as much as I would have liked while my five children were small, other than the regular family birthday cakes but after my youngest son was born I decided to set up the business and starting taking regular commissions.

Cakes by Suzanne was established in 2006 to offer beautiful and delicious tasting cakes for weddings and celebrations. I use only the best quality ingredients available to create cakes from my own tried and tested recipes, including making my own jams for use as cake fillings. Working from my home about 3 miles outside Templepatrick I offer bespoke designs with a personal and friendly service.

Cakes by Suzanne is registered with Antrim Borough Council as a food business and holds a five star hygiene rating. I am also fully insured for your peace of mind.

My cakes feature regularly in Wedding Cakes - a Design Source magazine and in the past I have been commissioned to create designs for Cake Central Magazine.

My passion is to create a beautiful and unique cake, inspired by you and your hobbies, dreams and passions, recreated in sugar. I make lifelike sugar flowers, fun character models and enjoy creating fabric and jewel effects in sugar.
