Cherished is the creation of designer Abby Gadd, who wore nothing in her hair on her wedding day, and rather wished she had......

For Abby, starting Cherished was about giving prominence to her love of crafting and marrying it with her passion for early-twentieth century culture and design. She is in her element perusing antique shops and vintage markets for unusual pieces of jewellery, haberdashery and millinery decoration, and equally happy when putting them together into new, and beautiful hair ornaments and accessories.

Abby takes enormous pride in her craft. Each headpiece is designed, wired and ribboned with tremendous skill and love; the attention to detail is second to none. Pieces are made at her home-based studio in West Sussex, England.
