Julie Wilson

My name is Julie Wilson and I am a trained Independent Celebrant and member of the Fellowship of Professional Celebrants, operating mainly in the Leicestershire area, but happy to work further afield. The Celebrant had worked very hard to capture the essence of my friend in the address, and the service itself was so 'her' that I felt as if I'd really had a chance to say goodbye. Some months later I was lucky to meet Nuala Geary, a Celebrant operating in the South East, and was just as inspired by the enthusiasm and commitment she shows for what is clearly a job she loves. That, along with kind words and encouragement from my partner and friends gave me the impetus to have a go ... and here I am!

I realized many years ago that I love people and I love their stories, something which is crucial in the role of a Celebrant. The ceremonies I conduct are designed to reflect what you want, and are not based on any pre-set structure. It will always be my aim to support, inspire and provide a ceremony that reflects the real feelings of anyone using my services, be it in final tribute or joyous celebration, and to work with you to that end.
