You can have your wedding ceremony your way. When you chose a celebrant you break free from the twin poles of religious officiant and secular registrar. You can have your choice of rituals, vows, music and readings that are traditional, spiritual, multi-cultural, religious, secular, or any mix of these. You choose. You can have any venue you like, any time of day, and any day of the week. So long as you get the legal stuff done where the law dictates you are free to have a romantic ceremony anywhere.

I am a Life-Cycle Celebrant (R). With me you can go one step further. You can have your love story told as part of your ceremony. You can have special rituals created for you or make up your own. You can have your own vows written for you or by you. You can include other family members, parents and children, in meaningful ways. Your ceremony can be tailor-made for you (as traditional or unique as you like) using your very own words and in consultation with you and your beloved so that your every wish is granted.

A Life-Cycle Celebrant(R) is trained in every aspect of ceremony creation and performance by the Celebrant Foundation and Institute of America.

We wanted more than the administrative ceremony to mark our marriage, and neither of us are religious, so we decided to use a celebrant who could help us create a ceremony that was true to us.We chose to go for writing-only as we wanted to lead the ceremony ourselves, showing how we were making the choice to spend our lives together – we walked up the aisle together, for example! Shevaun's couple- centred approach was fantastic. She allowed us to create the feel of the ceremony ourselves, while guiding us in terms of structure and ritual ideas and including our friends and family in meaningful ways. We chose an unusual emphasis on humour and on everyday, unglamorous realities in the ceremony – a bit out-of-the-ordinary for a wedding but nothing else could have truly captured our relationship! Our family and friends often remember the ceremony and comment on how very personal and authentic it was (some of them are keen to do something similar when they get married). We were really touched and so were our guests. Our bespoke ceremony set the tone for a really special day, just the way we wanted, and we would recommend Shevaun to anyone.

The creating process of our ceremony with Shevaun was definitely our favourite pre- ceremony moments. To craft a ceremony made for us, by us and put into words our love, the untold story with her guidance & advices was something very special. The ceremony itself was splendid and felt like the summum of our day, the epitome of what it was all about. Although cold and windy, it is not what we and our guests remember - we remember being barefoot in the sand, feeling warmed by love and celebrating us as individuals, as a couple, as a family. We received only positive reviews about the ceremony, about how it was something so fresh, heartfelt and so true to us, something they had never seen and how they felt lucky to have witness such an event.
