Jo Irvine is a bespoke dress designer with a wealth of experience in creating couture bridalwear, womenswear, fashion garments and costume. After graduating from Wimbledon School of Art, Jo spent seven years working for a London Couture House designing tailor-made dresses for professional dancers and clients desiring made-to-measure eveningwear.
As well as working with many private clients, Jo has worked on several television shows such as ‘Strictly Come Dancing’, ‘Dancing On Ice’ and ‘Britain’s Got Talent’, designing gowns for celebrities and dancers. Television personalities such as Lisa Snowdon, Pamela Stephenson, Flavia Cacace, Lynda Bellingham, Louisa Lytton, Dawn French and Ann Widdecombe have all worn Jo’s designs, demonstrating her ability to design for every age, shape and size. Jo’s expertise lies in designing for women who are looking for a dress that is tailored to fit and designed to flatter.
Jo is passionate about working with her clients to design something perfect, an outfit that fits beautifully and reflects their personal style. Be it a bridal gown, bridesmaid dress, cocktail dress, or simple sun dress, Jo will work to design and produce something elegant to fit and flatter your figure. Once your illustration is designed and approved, you are invited to attend several fittings to ensure the garment fits your body perfectly. This is an incredibly exciting experience as the design drawing comes to life and your unique dress evolves and develops with each fitting.
