Romantica of Devon

Romantica has been a family owned and run company for 28 years, having been started by a family who had a strong belief that honesty, integrity and values could be incorporated, with the talent of designer Sally Waddington, to produce wedding dresses of distinction. The company started with Sally as the designer and factory manager with her husband, Mike, as Sales Director and with the assistance of 20 machinists in a small factory in the heart of the Devon countryside.

The company quickly expanded over the years as the designs evolved. Twenty years ago we moved to a larger premises and started to send our designs to China for manufacturing, but continued to make silk dresses in the new factory. Their son, Kelvin, joined the company 19 years ago and is now the Managing Director.
