Proffesonal bridesmaids?

Today I was reminded of a post I once saw online by someone who hired herself out as a professional bridesmaid for people who want a bridesmaid, but didn’t have one. From memory she claimed to know all the proper etiquette, that she looked good in photos and knew how to support any bride on her big day. I think she even promised tears at the appropriate moments!!! What do you think? Good idea, bad idea? Convenient? Would you hire a professional bridesmaid? Do you know of one or someone who hired one? Do tell.
