Wowsers. I love, love, love this strapless silk chiffon gown from J. Mendel. It’s called Apollonie and it’s oh-so glamourous and very old Hollywood. I particularly love the ivory bolero but I think it might drive me nuts all day trying to keep it in place. Have you ever worn something, be it a pair of tight shoes or a scratchy dress, just because it looked fabulous – even though it was terribly uncomfortable? Yes, yes, I know it’s vain and thoroughly impractical – and I’m not usually that way inclined – but I wouldn’t be the first to do something so silly, now would I? Would you pick comfort over looking fabulous on your wedding day?
