Watergate Bay is an awesome setting for a beach-side wedding.

A gorgeous, two-mile long, sandy beach is the stunning backdrop for your whole day. Take your vows in the hotel surrounded by your family and friends and panoramic sea views, then celebrate with delicious food and drink in Zacry’s and a party in the Event Space.

We don’t have an itinerary or package for your wedding, instead our dedicated wedding planner and team work with you to create your own unique event. Our weddings are intimate, for a maximum of 40 people, or exclusive – you have the whole hotel and team at your disposal.

We got married at the Wategate Bay Hotel. What an amazing experience. The staff were fantastic! I think by the end of the day all the guests had fallen in love with the amazing beach and views from the hotel. The sun was out, so we could go down to the beach for our photographs. Just want to say a big thank you to you all for making our day so very very special, what a fantastic start to married life.

We stayed at Watergate Bay for two nights after our wedding in June last year. We had a fabulous room, spacious, clean and quiet. The hotel made sure our wedding was noted when we dined out, with a lovely dessert at Fifteen and a glass of Fizz down on the beach.

We chose this hotel as the venue for our wedding in December 2017 - we love the place and have been coming here for winter breaks for several years now. It did not disappoint. The hotel staff were excellent with the arrangements - and everything ran very smoothly to make it a memorable family event. The 'Taste of the Bay' deal was a real treat - the food being excellent - and represented good value.

We visited a few venues before booking the watergate bay hotel and I must say me made the perfect choice. I will start with the location it is fantastic and a view like nowhere else, all through the planning of the wedding all staff that we dealt with were very helpful and accommodating to our needs and nothing was too much trouble. This was the same on the day it was perfect and we could not wish for anymore all staff were very attentive and couldn't do enough for us. We also stayed over and the room we had no 21 is fantastic with a beautiful view of watergate what more could you want. All the meals we had here where delicious and the service also fantastic. I can not recommend this hotel enough we will be back.

We chose to stay here on our wedding night and it was absolutely the perfect decision. We live in Cornwall ourselves and knew of Watergate Bay Hotel and had also heard from friends who had stayed there. It is faultless. I have travelled a lot and been in many hotels over the years and this is hands down one of my favourite stays.
