Under the discerning gaze of Scottish greats the Royal Society of Edinburgh is the perfect place to celebrate your wedding.
If you only want to hold your wedding ceremony we are happy to organise just that for you. If it’s your ceremony plus a reception afterwards we would be delighted to help you celebrate in style, be that a simple drinks reception after your ceremony, a more traditional wedding reception, or perhaps something in between.
Our venue can comfortably accommodate up to 90 people for weddings. Our Scott Room, Upper Gallery, Welcome East and West rooms are licensed for holding wedding ceremonies. These rooms and our grand reception area are also best for any reception after the ceremony. For larger receptions the Welcome West room, with its dance floor is best.
And what about keeping the children entertained. Our Theatre is available to show movies while the adults are enjoying the party.
