Tavistock Town Hall

Tavistock Town Hall, Tavistock’s largest capacity event venue which is suitable for any event of your choice from Conferences, Exhibitions, Wedding Ceremonies, Theatre, Craft and Gift Fayres, Dance Classes, Band Nights, Gigs, to name but a few.

There are regular events that are suitable for everyones interest. The Hall is also available for hire for any event that you wish to put on.

The Tavistock Town Hall was constructed in local stone in the Late Perpendicular Gothic style, it boasts a stunning main hall measuring 64 ‘ x 42’, with paneled walls and a superb maple floor, along with other historic and interesting rooms including the Mayors Parlour.

The town hall boasts two rooms perfectly able to accommodate conferences and meetings of varying sizes. The main hall can accommodate up to 200 people or for smaller more intimate meetings the Rundle room is available to accommodate up to 28 people.

Now boasting a recent refurbished kitchen and bar areas and with our civil ceremony license the town hall makes for Tavistock’s premier wedding venue. Friendly and experienced staff are on hand to make your special day memorable and are more than happy to pass there experience on to you to make the organisation of your day as stress free as possible. And all at no extra cost to you!
