We recently got married at the Burnside Hotel. Everything about our whole day was perfect, the food, the weather and especially the attention to detail from Pauline and all her staff. We highly recommend this hotel for a wedding or just weekend stay as we have done both. Many thanks again and a special mention to Amelia who looked after us all in the bar. Newly married

My new wife and I recently held our wedding at the burnside.we had over 50 guests staying in around 20 rooms .Pauline the manager and wedding planner was absolutely fantastic nothing was too much trouble including helping everyone with cravats ,button holes,etc even dressing my bride after a major panic with the dress! The front of house staff bent over backwards for my wife and I and more importantly our guests .We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights and enjoyed every miniute of our stay .Not one of our guests has had anything more than praise for the hotel ,with many vowing to return in the near future .The rooms were all great,as was the food, Being a frequent traveller I know this is not always to be the case, even in some 5 star hotels I have stayed in .I feel I have to comment on the review left by the man with the alleged intruder please get a life ! and don't try to spoil what is a truly special hotel with fantastic staff !
