Chosen will be returning once more to the gorgeous recently refurbished Old Banking Hall within Portland House Cardiff this autumn. Located in the fabulous Cardiff Bay area Portland House offers us lashings of atmosphere and character with plenty of space to bring you an inspirational wedding fair with a difference. We are absolutely delighted to be showcasing some of the finest artisan businesses in Wales and the South West. Our fairs are carefully and thoughtfully curated to bring you only the most talented and passionate creatives, designer-makers and unique businesses with fresh ideas. Our fun and friendly fairs are jam packed with inspiration for style-conscious couples looking for ‘different’. Cardiff Bay itself played a huge role in the industrial age, shipping coal to the rest of the world. Freshly regenerated the area is now an up and coming area, which lends itself to a wide range of tourists, creative events and holiday makers. Being located only 5 minutes from the town centre of Cardiff it’s a great location steeped in rich Welsh history. The old banking hall at Portland House was built in 1927 and was one of the tallest buildings in the area at the time. These days the location is used often for film productions such a Doctor Who, Torchwood, Casualty and Being Human. Nestled within the media hub that is Cardiff Bay its period features inside and out provide a fantastic setting – not only for tv but now for Chosen Wedding Fair Cardiff too! Our new bespoke and vintage wedding fair Cardiff is one of our #weddingrevolution locations – this campaign is an acknowledgement of gaps that we have identified in the market for contemporary, fresh and fun wedding events and we fully intend on going into these areas and turning things a little upside down! With a fresh approach and the main emphasis on fun and discovery, we plan on creating a show to remember chock full to the brim of unique, vintage quirky, stylish and ahead of trend items to help you express your own personality.
