So I've been told that feeding our guests and letting them watch us parade around in our splendor is not enough - who knew? So my next challenge was to find the entertainment for our reception.
So did we want a band, a duo, trio, DJ, a circus troupe or a magician? Don't laugh it's happened before! I narrowed my choices down to Band or DJ, not sure how my poor grandmother would have reacted to the circus troupe.
Craig and I loved the idea of a band - we loved the sound and individuality of a trio/quartet but we also considered the practical side of a DJ - more variety etc.
So off to Wedding Directory I went and we got a lot of varying prices - some within our budget, some way out, like on the moon, way out. We decided to go with a DJ - and this is where it got hard. We had no idea to how to differentiate between DJ's - they all had great reputation's and the pricing was fairly similar. So we looked at the Bride Reviews for each supplier and spoke with a few and DJ Masters definitely stood out!
Liam was so helpful, had great reviews and after speaking with him we had no doubt that he was the one! As an added bonus Liam has done many weddings at Elmswood Estate so he is familiar with our wedding venue.
So we ticked reception entertainment off the list - yes there is a list - it's colour coded...There may or may not be graphs.
