Breckenhill is a beautiful, rural venue in Co. Antrim, Northern Ireland, perfect for many different types of event. Set at the top of the valley where there used to be six textile mills using water power, the 18th century listed Georgian house and barn were built by the original mill-owner.
The barn is the centrepiece for a wide variety of functions and activities. You can get married here; Breckenhill is ideal for a wedding and reception in exclusive, quiet surroundings.
A wedding venue with a difference – Breckenhill is a private and secluded barn wedding venue located in the heart of County Antrim. Set in a quiet, picturesque location in the hills near Ballyclare, we offer a truly flexible and unique venue in an 18th century barn, sympathetically restored using reclaimed slates and timber flooring.
The barn and its surroundings are an ideal, secluded, and very private venue for your wedding. The upstairs room seats up to 80 for the service, and can also be used for the wedding feast, with flexible seating arrangements. The barn can be decorated as you wish – white table cloths and napkins are included, as is all the tableware. You can have your champagne reception downstairs, or in good weather, in the garden or marquee alongside the barn. More guests can join you in the evening, and hog roasts and barbecues are a popular choice in this informal venue.
